Allow me the privilege to introduce myself. My name is Mike DeLeo, and I am a native of Philadelphia Pennsylvania. I've recently moved back home after 3 years of being an Assistant Golf Professional in Nashville Tennessee, and also living in Orlando Florida studying under the guidance of PGA Master Professionals at the Golf Academy of America. My golf scholastic background includes: Advanced Teaching, Tournament Operations, Club Fitting, Club Repair, Rules of Golf, and Golf Performance Enhancement, along with many others. A veteran myself, I have had the honor and privilege to conduct lessons with many of our nation’s heroes through the Fairways for Warriors program. Along with teaching our wounded veterans, I have been involved with many junior clinics, USGA Events, and PGA Tour events. In case you haven’t realized it yet, golf is not only my career, but my passion!
The opportunity for me to help improve a person’s golf game is considered an honor. I can’t guarantee instant success, but what I can guarantee is a fun learning experience that will leave you walking away with a sense of accomplishment. It is not my goal to have a student learn how to NOT hit bad shots, but more so to understand WHY they hit bad shots. I am extremely confident that after a one hour lesson with me you will see a positive change, whether in a facet of your game or your mental psyche towards golf. That’s how confident I am in my teaching ability and knowledge of all areas surrounding the art and science of golf.
